Tickets & Passes
Ramaskrik Film Festival returns from 14 to 18 October 2026. We are thrilled to welcome audiences, filmmakers, guests, and horror fans back to Oppdal for five unforgettable days at Norway’s scariest film festival.
The festival has a general age limit of 15 years. This age restriction is strictly enforced, and children under the age of 15 will not be admitted, even when accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Some films may carry an 18+ age rating. Where this applies, it will be clearly indicated in the festival programme.

Frequently Asked Questions
The Screening Is Full / Sold Out. What Should I Do Now?
If a screening is full, it's full. Admission is strictly on a first come, first served basis. If you have purchased an individual ticket for a screening that is full or sold out, you may exchange your ticket for another screening during the festival. Please contact the ticket sales desk in the festival kiosk for assistance.
In all venues apart from the Main Auditorium, only a limited number of individual tickets are made available for sale. Most seats are reserved for Festival Pass holders. Based on our experience, the vast majority of attendees are able to see the films they want to watch, although occasionally you may need to choose an alternative screening.
Some of the festival's most popular films may have one screening in the Main Auditorium (432 seats) and another in the Cinema Auditorium (104 seats). In such cases, your best chance of getting a seat is usually to choose the screening in the Main Auditorium.
Where Can I Sit in the Auditorium?
All screenings operate on an unreserved seating basis (free seating). The auditorium is completely cleared between screenings, and you may not leave personal belongings on a seat to reserve it for a later screening.
How Do I Get Into the Screening Venue?
If you have a Festival Pass, you will receive a wristband, which must be shown at the entrance to each screening. You do not need a ticket. If you have purchased an individual ticket, simply present your ticket for admission.
The same queue applies to both Festival Pass holders and individual ticket holders. Admission is on a first come, first served basis.
How Many Times Are the Films Screened?
The vast majority of films are screened twice during the festival, between Wednesday and Sunday, although some titles are only shown once. Please refer to the festival programme for a complete overview of all screenings and showtimes.
