The Glorious Dead
It’s winter in small-town America, and we follow Sheriff Deb (Toby Poser) through one very strange day on the job. People are disappearing, the dead are rising, monsters are lurking in the woods, and, of all things, mysterious holes resembling giant assholes are suddenly appearing in the ground.
The Adams family has a filmmaking style all their own. Everyone gets involved, and their films are made on extremely modest budgets. This is true DIY cinema from mother, father, and their two daughters. With The Glorious Dead, they venture into slightly Fargo-esque territory, and the film marks their sixth feature since 2019.
We had the pleasure of meeting John Adams, a genuinely delightful guy, at London FrightFest this past August. Unfortunately, the family won't be able to attend Ramaskrik due to an already packed festival schedule, but they will introduce the film digitally
